April Will See Release of All Star Superman Uhd Bluray

All-Star Superman is back and better than ever, with his very first 4K UHD Blu-ray release in April. aug 18, courtesy of Warner Bros. This masterpiece by Bruce Timm and Dwayne McDuffie is a remake of Grant Morrison’s original comic book series and captures Superman’s heroic last days on Earth.

The release contains a number of special features that tell the story of the film from different angles. Among them are an audio commentary by Timm and Morrison, as well as a digital copy of the original all-Star Superman comic.

The documentaries The art of the all-star adaptation and an all-star salute to the Silver age Superman analyze the script writing, character design and rating elements of the film. Meanwhile, Superman Now and the Creative Flow: Incubating the idea with Grant Morrison offers a deeper analysis of Morrison’s original sketches and ideas. With this collection of reports, viewers can take a look behind the scenes of the making of the film.

The Last Adventures of the Last Son of Krypton

In the film, Superman is exposed to intense radiation after saving scientists who are heading towards the Sun, giving him extra powers, but also slowly making him die. With Lex Luthor’s dark plans to defeat him, Krypton’s last son must make the most of his final year of life. For this reason, the film offers an excellent overview of Superman’s tragic, but also heroic journey.

James Denton and Christina Hendricks lend their voices to the characters of Superman and Lois Lane. Her most famous role is that of Joan Holloway in AMC’s Mad Men, as well as various voice roles in other projects such as Toy Story 4, Scoob!, The Pirate Fairy and the Solar Opposites. Denton is best known for playing Mike Delfino in Desperate Housewives and Dr. Sam Radford in Good Witch.

The cast of the animated film includes Anthony LaPaglia as Lex Luthor, Ed Asner as Perry White, Frances Conroy as Ma Kent, Matthew Gray Gubler as Jimmy Olsen and Linda Cardellini as Nasty. In addition, Arnold Vosloo, Steve Blum, Alexis Denisof, Obba Babatunde, Fred Tatasciore, John DiMaggio and many others appear in the extended cast.

The film was created under the creative direction of producer Bruce Timm, while Sam Liu took on the role of director. The script was written by the after Dwayne McDuffie, who sadly passed away in 2011. It was one of his last projects.
